Qualifications and Requirements of National Counterparts for High-Rise Building Projects Submitted to HPBC by Foreign Professional Design Engineers and Architects:<\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 1.Architect<\/strong><\/p>

    • Holder of Senior Licensed Architect (SLA) of Myanmar Architect Council.<\/li>
    • Must have B.Arch and have practical experience in the high-rise and public buildings\u2019 significant architectural work at a professional level for a period of not less than 2 years.\u00a0<\/li>
    • Must submit his or her professional experiences to HPBC and appear for a personal interview to register as National Counterpart.<\/li>
    • To follow the guidelines of HPBC concerning national counterparts and professional code of conduct.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>

      \u00a0 \u00a0 2. Structural Engineer<\/strong><\/p>

        • Holder of professional engineer [PE-Civil (Structure)] of Myanmar Engineering Council.<\/li>
        • Must be B.E (Civil) and have practical experience in structural design work at a professional level for a period of not less than 2 years.<\/li>
        • \u00a0Must submit his or her professional experience to HPBC and appear for personal interview to register as National Counterpart<\/li>
        • To follow the guidelines of HPBC concerning national counterparts and professional code of conduct.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>

          Remarks :<\/b>\u00a0 Holder of M.E (Structure) who has P.E Civil (Structure) certificate can apply for National Counterpart.<\/p>

          \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a03. Electrical, Electronic & HVAC Engineer<\/strong><\/p>

            • Holder of professional engineer [PE-Electrical (B.S), PE-Electronic (B.S) & PE-Mechanical (HVAC)] of Myanmar Engineering Council.<\/li>
            • Must be B.E (Electrical\/Electronic\/Mechanical) and have practical experience in the electrical and mechanical design of external and internal work at professional level for a period of not less than 2 years.<\/li>
            • Must submit his or her professional experience to HPBC and appear for a personal interview to register as a National Counterpart.<\/li>
            • To follow the guidelines of HPBC concerning national counterparts and professional code of conduct.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>

              Remarks :<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Holder of M.E (Electrical Power) who has P.E Electrical (B.S.) Certificate can apply for a national counterpart.<\/p>

              \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a04. Water Supply and Sanitation Engineer and Mechanical Building Service Engineer<\/strong><\/p>

                • Holder of professional engineer [PE-Civil (Water Supply & Sanitation) \/ PE-Mechanical (B.S)] of Myanmar Engineering Council.<\/li>
                • Must be B.E (Civil \/ Mechanical) and have practical experience in the design of external and internal water supply and sanitation works and Mechanical Building Services Works at a professional level for a period of not less than 2 years.<\/li>
                • Must submit his or her professional experience to HPBC and appear for a personal interview to register as a National Counterpart.<\/li>
                • To follow the Guidelines of HPBC concerning national counterparts and professional code of conduct.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>

                  Remarks<\/strong>: “Attached – To be carried out in accordance with the specifications set out in Myanmar Engineering Council Notification No. (6\/2019).”<\/p>

                  \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 5. Geotechnical Engineer<\/strong><\/p>

                    • Holder of professional engineer [PE-Civil (Geotechnical)] of Myanmar Engineering Council.<\/li>
                    • Must be a B.E. (Civil \/ Mining) and have practical experience in the geotechnical design work at a professional level for a period of not less than 2 years.<\/li>
                    • Must submit his or her professional experience to HPBC and appear for a personal interview to register as a National Counterpart.<\/li>
                    • To follow the guidelines of HPBC concerning national counterparts and professional code of conduct.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

                      Duties and Responsibilities of National Counterparts for Projects submitted to HPBC:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

                      1. To review the design concept.<\/span><\/li>
                      2. To check the design proposal based on local prevailing requirements.<\/span><\/li>
                      3. To make comments and suggestions on proposed design for appropriate revisions to be followed by designer.<\/span><\/li>
                      4. To countersign the final proposed design.<\/span><\/li>
                      5. To be present at HPBC during Designer\u2019s presentation<\/span><\/li>
                      6. To review and evaluate any major design alteration done by designer during construction period and countersign the report prepared by the designer which shall be submitted to concerned authority.<\/span><\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
